For scholarly articles on animal behavior try JSTOR. I highly recommend the Gale Science database (found here). There are good quality articles, some from science journals, some more encyclopedic overviews, that will help you with this project. A lot of the information found on the general web is either too juvenile or not well written. These sites are exceptions:
